  Hey Spartans!. We are dressing up next week. Monday is PJs or Onsies. Tuesday is Scrabble day. I prize will go to the squad with the longest word and a prize for the word with the highest point value. Must be school appropriate. Wednesday is Guys in Ties and Girls in pearls. Want to participate and don't have, we will have a limited supply of ties and pearls available before school and during lunches. Come to school dress to impress. Thursday is dress as someone you admire and Friday rounds the week off with neon. Glow up and Shine.

  The US History STAAR EOC exam is April 16th. Are you prepared? Attend US History EOC tutorials to ensure you are ready for the big day. Our next US History EOC tutorial will be on Monday, March 31st after school in Room 2311 and in Room 2312 for a review in Spanish. The topic of the review will be the Civil Rights Movement. Snacks will be provided for those who attend. Ask your US History teacher for more information.

  Congratulations to the Cypress Lakes Orchestra students who all had excellent performances at UIL the past three days. Philharmonic Orchestra and Symphony received excellent scores from the judges and Symphony orchestra received mostly superior scores in sight-reading. Chamber earned a sweepstakes award with superior scores and excellent scores from all 6 judges. Great job Spartans!

  Do you like real estate? Would you like to earn your Real Estate license? If you will be a junior or senior next year and you are interested in learning about Real Estate, please attend the interest meeting with Ms Gatling Wednesday, April 2nd at 2:50 pm in Room 3010. If you cannot make the meeting, stop by and see Ms Gatling in Room 3010 for more information.

  Seniors: Balfour will be here during lunches on Wednesday and Thursday to distribute your cap and gown on April 2nd and 3rd.

  Seniors! Your Class of 2025 Prom is Saturday, May 3rd! Have a blast with your friends and purchase your prom tickets in school cash for $85.

  Attention Seniors: Senior Prom Court Interest Meeting will be held Tuesday, April 1st at 2:50 p.m., in the Library.

  Hey Spartans. Let's glow crazy. Student council is sponsoring our first neon glow party April 4th here at CyLakes. Tickets are $15 and available on school cash. It is from 6 to 9. No outside guests will be allowed. Tickets are limited and will go fast.

  On Thursday, March 20th, the Cypress Lakes Theatre competed in the UIL One Act Play Competition and advanced to the Bi District level. Adarius Burns was awarded Honorable Mention Cast, Asha Bell was awarded All Star Cast, Chris Murry was awarded All Star Cast, and Za'Quavian Powers was awarded Best Technician. The Bi District level of competition will be on April 2nd at Magnolia High School. Come out and support and let's break a leg.
