Culture Club Meeting

Fellowship of Christian Athletes

  Good morning. The Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be having a meeting this Thursday after school in room 1175. Come and join us for food, fun, fellowship, and friends. RED Storm Step team Interest meeting

  Good morning Spartans. Are you interested in being apart of something great! Do you like to perform and also serve your community. The RED Storm Step team is having an interest meeting Thursday after school in room 2411. You must attend the meeting in order to tryout. You must be in the room by 2:50 wearing and I.D. or you will not be admitted. Boys and Girls welcome!

Girls Soccer Bake Sale

  Spartans: come by the commons after school on Wednesday, September 16 for the girls soccer bake sale! We will have cookies, cosmic brownies, honey buns, hot chips, and other goodies. Stop by before tutorials to support girls soccer! Everything is a $1.

Hispanic Heritage Month

  Buenos días Spartans, for Hispanic Heritage Month today we are recognizing Cesar Chavez. A Mexican-American labor leader, who fought tirelessly for the rights of farmworkers in the United States. Through nonviolent means and the founding of the United Farm Workers union, he advocated for fair wages and better working conditions. His dedication to social justice and civil rights continues to inspire us today.

Hispanic Heritage Month

  Buenos días Spartans: National Hispanic Heritage Month is the period from September 15 to October 15 when we recognize the contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans to the country's history, heritage, and culture. Today’s latina is: Shakira. Shakira was born in Colombia, is a global icon known for her music and dancing. She's sold over 75 million records worldwide, won numerous awards, and is a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador championing early childhood development and access to education. Her unique blend of Latin, pop, and rock music continues to inspire people around the world.

Science Olympiad Meeting

  Science Olympiad will be holding its next meeting Thursday, September 19th in Room 1206. We will be discussing events, getting permission slips, and more! If you missed the first interest meeting, stop on by!

HOSA Club Meeting

  Attention Spartans! Thank you to all the students that signed up for HOSA. If you paid the fee on school cash, you have been added to HOSA 2024-2025 schoology group. This is where you can find all the club information. The first official HOSA member meeting is Wednesday Sept 18, 2024 in the auditorium from 2:50-3:30pm. If you have any questions send message on schoology to HOSA 2024-2025 group.

Cy-Lakes Philosophy Club Meetiing

  Do you like discussing current events, big ideas, right and wrong? Do you want a club that looks good for college, doesn’t cost money, and involves talking to people. Then, the Cypress Lakes Philosophy club might be for you. Come to our meeting Thursday after school in room 2113. If you can’t attend, you can find more information in our schoology group Cypress Lakes Philosophy club or just stop by room 2113 and talk to Mrs. Whitney.

Mu Alpha Theta Meeting

  “Hello Spartans! Mu Alpha Theta is offering math tutoring on Wednesdays after school in the C-2 portable. Everyone is welcome to join us and ask questions about the SAT, PSAT, various math subjects, and more!”

Key Club

  The Cypress Lakes Key Club will be hosting a bake sale after school this Thursday September 19th. Stop by the main hallway next to the cafeteria to pick up a sweet treat for the afternoon. No card or app payments will be accepted, so don't forget to bring your cash. Key club appreciates your support, and we hope to see you there!
