Congratulations to our Lady Spartan basketball team as they made school history this season by going 25-11 and making it to the region tournament which is the fourth round of the state playoffs! Aniah Alexis received the District 16-6A MVP award after averaging 29.8 points per game and 12.3 rebounds per game. Aniah Alexis also set the CFISD single game scoring record with a 51 point performance December 28, 2023. Makennah Alexis received 1st team All-District averaging 16.4 points per game and led the district in steals, Taliyah Applewhite received 2nd team all-district for her contributions, and honorable mention went to Dana Jefferson, Lauryn Jeffries, Makaylee Smith, Jayla Muhammad, and Victoria Morris. Congratulations ladies, you made history!
