  On Thursday, March 20th, the Cypress Lakes Theatre competed in the UIL One Act Play Competition and advanced to the Bi District level. Adarius Burns was awarded Honorable Mention Cast, Asha Bell was awarded All Star Cast, Chris Murry was awarded All Star Cast, and Za'Quavian Powers was awarded Best Technician. The Bi District level of competition will be on April 2nd at Magnolia High School. Come out and support and let's break a leg.

  "Hello Chemists! Join us for our next meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, March 25 in Dr. Dev’s room (2020) as we celebrate World Water Day with a fun, hands-on Water Filtration Challenge! Work in teams to build mini water filters and learn about water purification. We’ll also be announcing next year’s officers, so don’t miss out! See you there!"

  Spartan's Got Talent! is Wednesday, March 19th at 7:00 pm in the auditorium. See singers, dancers, twirlers, steppers, Mr Cy Lakes himself and more!!! Tickets are $8 per-sale and $10 at the door.   Want to hear some incredible slam poems? Come on down to the LGI right after school on Tuesday, March 25th for the Red Poet Society's Spring Slam! We would love to have you here to support your fellow Spartans as they perform the poems they're most proud of. We will also be honoring our senior poets!   The US History STAAR EOC exam is April 16th. Are you prepared? Attend US History EOC tutorials to ensure you are ready for the big day. Our next US History EOC tutorial will be on Monday, March 17th after school in Room 2311 and in Room 2312 for a review in Spanish. The topic of the review will be the 1920's. Snacks will be provided for those who attend. For more information, ask your US History teacher or check out the posters around the building.

  Attention Spartans - come watch the 2nd annual POWDERPUFF game featuring Senior Girls against Junior Girls in flag football. Senior boys and junior boys will put on a cheer halftime show to remember - concessions will be sold by the athletic department. Tickets are just 2 dollars on school cash.
