POWDERPUFF Game Mar 19

  Attention Spartans - come watch the 2nd annual POWDERPUFF game featuring Senior Girls against Junior Girls in flag football. Senior boys and junior boys will put on a cheer halftime show to remember - concessions will be sold by the athletic department. Tickets are just 2 dollars on school cash. See you March 19th at 3:30 at the football field!

National Foreign Language week

  Buenos días Spartans, in observance of National Foreign Language week, tomorrow we are celebrating by wearing neon colors and greeting one another in other languages than English. For example: Ni hao, hola, bonjour, hallo, salve, namaste, as-salamu alaykum and your own. Thank you for participating. Make it a great day.

Spartan's Got Talent show

  It's about to happen! The Spartan's Got Talent show! Meet us in the auditorium Wednesday, March 19 at 7:00 pm for some of the BEST talent CyLakes has to offer. Tickets are $8 presale on Schoolcash and $10 at the door. For more information, see Ms Gatling in room 3010.

2nd Chance Breakfast Changes

  Students beginning after spring break second chance breakfast will only be in the commons on the snack bar side. It will no longer be available in the hallway. Serving will stop when the minute bell rings. Once you get your breakfast leave the commons immediately. If you are at school before 7:15 am it is important you get breakfast before school starts!

Congrats Boys Track

  Join us in congratulating the following Spartans for their performance in last weeks track meets. Boys Varsity Varsity boys won their track meet the last Friday in Conroe! 3200 Meter run Eddie Lee came in 4th Tylor Richard came in 5th place for Triple Jump 1600 meter run Aden Ortega came in first with a time of 4:31 800 meter run saw 2nd place go to Aden Ortega, 3rd to Sean Renaud, and 5th to Daylen Hayton 4x200 meter relay team of Taji Bernier, Daniel Mitchell, Landon Bridges, and Tylor Richard finished 4th. 4x100 meter relay team of Landon Bridges, Amari Barnes, Jacob Matthews, and Abraham Olu-femi-Dada came in 3rd place with a time of 41.27 Jacob Matthew ran a time of 22.52 to place 2nd in the 200 meter dash. Darieous Jackson placed 2nd and Stephen Okulaja placed 4th in the 300 meter hurdles. SAT test- March 5

  Attention all 11th graders. You will be taking the SAT test on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Please make sure you are at school on time with your charged chromebook, a charger and your ID.

US History STAAR EOC Exam prep

  The US History STAAR EOC exam is April 16th. Are you prepared? Attend US History EOC tutorials to ensure you are ready for the big day. Our next US History EOC tutorial will be on Monday, March 3rd, after school in Room 2311 and in Room 2312 for a review in Spanish. The topic of the review will be American Expansionism. For more information, ask your US History teacher or check out the posters around the building.
