  SENIORS!! On Wednesday, January 29th, Balfour, we'll meet with seniors to share information about graduation supplies, including your cap and gown. Senior information is also posted in the Schoology Class of 2025. You can also order your cap and gown online. You can reference this information on Schoology and the school website. Balfour will return the following week during lunch to take orders, Monday, February 3rd through Wednesday, February 5th. If you have questions, please visit admin Red and see Mrs. Helton.

  The Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be having a meeting this Wednesday after school in room 1169. FCA is also still collecting fuzzy socks for Bristol Park assisted living and memory care residents. Please bring your fuzzy sock donation to the meeting or see Coach Miller or Ms. Smoote for the drop off. Thank you in advance.

  Hey Spartans, are you interested in Drones, Rockets, Marksmanship, Physical Fitness, serving the community, or social events? Are you needing a PE credit? Air Force Junior ROTC is looking for you! Our program promotes self-improvement, leadership development, and personal growth! Come meet current cadets and learn more about the program on Wednesday, January 22nd or January 29th in room 2904 after school at 2:45. Snacks provided!!

If we have not received your PAF (Parent Acknowledgement Form) stating you are allowed to have a school issued laptop, then your device will be taken up this week. If you have not done so, please return the completed form by the end of the day Tuesday, January 14, 2025 to Admin.Silver. If you need a new form, please go to Admin Silver.   Over the weekend, the Boys Soccer Team competed in the Klein Invitational and had an incredible performance, winning all 3 of their games! They defeated Stratford 2-0, North Shore 3-1, and Katy Taylor 3-1. Individual standouts include: Ruben Andrade with 4 goals and 1 assist Karim Hani with 3 goals Walter Maldonado with 1 goal Damian Romero and Jonathan Gonzalez, each with 1 assist and Adrian Cazares "The Keeper" with some great saves. The entire Varsity team played well together and is excited to carry this momentum into district play. Join us this Friday, January 17th to support the boys as they kick off district play at Cy Park: JV B at 4:30 PM JV A at 5:45 PM Varsity at 7:45 PM Come out and cheer on the Boys Soccer team! Vamos!

  Do you have a passion for fashion? Want to showcase your designs, take the stage, or show off your public speaking skills? Then you’re in luck! The Cypress Lakes Fashion Show is coming up in the spring, and we’re looking for models, student designers, and an emcee to make the event unforgettable. Auditions for models and emcees will be held on Thursday, January 16, after school in Room 1705. If you’re interested in any of these roles, scan the QR codes on the flyers posted around the school.
