  On Tuesday, January 28th, the Spartans Boys Soccer team emerged victorious against Cy Ranch with a score of 1-0. The winning goal was scored by Ethan D’Elia, assisted by Ruben Andrade, in the final minutes of the game. Our defense played an outstanding role in securing the win, effectively preventing Cy Ranch from getting past our back line and goalkeeper. Overall, the team showcased impressive determination and skill on the field. Looking ahead, the Spartans are excited to play in front of their fans this Friday, January 31st, as they take on Bridgeland. Come out and show your support! The JV B game kicks off at 4:30 PM, followed by the JV A match at 5:40 PM, and the Varsity game at 7:45 PM.

  This past weekend, 63 choir students represented CyLakes High School at the UIL Solo and Ensemble contest, bringing home a total of 52 Superior rating medals. Congratulations to the following soloist that received a superior rating: Nava Askarinsab, Paige McMillan, Elizabeth Sanchez, Angel Torres-Vitela, Eric Ayala, Christopher Charles, Maylee Duron, Tahj Glover, Kale Kmiec, Caleb Miles, Miranda Padilla, Sophia Pena, Rianna Shezbie, Ellison Taylor, Esther Villanueva, and Savannah Washington. Congratulations to our wonderful CyLakes Choir Musicians!

  Seniors! Prom is Saturday, May 3rd at the Berry Center from 7 pm to 10 pm. Come enjoy your night of elegance and celebration as the theme is Enchanted Evening. Prom tickets are available in school cash for $70 dollars until February 17th.

  WOOOOHOOOOOO Spartans!! Our varsity bowling team won Monday against Springs! Bella, Izandeel, Elijah, Anthony and Antonio all came together for the win! Thanks to Ladarrien for supporting his team mates. IF you would like to see our amazing team compete, we have a match today (Wednesday) after school at Copperfield Bowl at 3:45.   Good morning. The Fellowship of Christian athletes will be having a meeting this Wednesday after school in room 1175. We will be making Valentines Day cards for the residence of Bristol Park.   “Hello Spartans! Mu Alpha Theta is offering math tutoring on Wednesdays after school in the C-2 portable. Everyone is welcome to join us and ask questions about the SAT, various math subjects, and more! In addition, our tutors are happy to help with preparing for the Accuplacer. As always, we are more than happy to help so be there or be square! We will have snacks as well!"
