  Attention all club and organization presidents! Presidents' Club will be meeting Tuesday after school at 2:45 pm in Room 2316. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Blackwell or Ms. Cockrell.

  It's not too late to sign up for our blood drive this Thursday! Students who signed up for the blood drive should check in with their teacher then, report to the multipurpose gym at their appointment time. Staff can skip the line and donate any time. Please eat a hearty breakfast and/or lunch before reporting to blood drive

  Congratulations   to our Spartan football team on our first ever playoff win! We are headed to Round 2! Congratulations  also to Coach Carter and the entire football staff on this huge accomplishment! In honor of our coaches, feel free to dress like your favorite coach this week. Let's show our Spartan spirit every single day leading up to Friday night's 7:00 game when we take on College Park at the Berry Center. Have a great weekend and a great week!

  Hey Spartans! ⚽ You know what time it is — Soccer Season is here! If you’re interested in trying out, make sure you’ve got your physical on file and have completed all Rank One requirements. Need a form? Stop by the trainer’s room in the athletics hallway to pick one up. Remember, TALENT gets you in, CHARACTER keeps you in, so good grades and behavior are also a requirement! Tryouts will take place on Monday, December 1st at 3PM on the turf field behind the school. See you out there, Spartans — let’s make it a great season! 💪

  Seniors! Eco-Fair is Wednesday, November 19th, during second period in the Commons. Buy a $1 pass to get out of class and 50-cent tickets that you can use to purchase the items made by Economics students. This is a fundraiser for the Class of 2026. Go to School Cash to buy your passes and tickets today! See Ms. Smith in Room 2417 if you have any questions and to pick up your tickets and passes.

Attention HOSA members! We’re excited to announce that our next meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 2:45 PM in the Auditorium. This meeting is especially exciting because HOSA T-shirts will be distributed to all members in attendance. Don’t forget to check Schoology regularly for updates on upcoming events and important announcements. We look forward to seeing you there and kicking off another great chapter meeting together!

  Hey there Spartan Leaders!! Just a quick reminder that FBLA will be meeting today after school in the LGI. Our general session meeting will be held first for all FBLA members. Our FBLA competition team will meet briefly after our general meeting. If you are on the FBLA competition team, this meeting is mandatory…check the Schoology group for additional details.   Good Morning Ladies of Sparta! Do you have what it takes to join the Cypress Lakes Lady Spartan Basketball Team? Our Lady Spartan Program has a legacy of winning here at The Lakes. Come show your skills OCTOBER 22nd and 23rd from 2:45pm-4:30p. You must have a physical on file to participate. Tryouts will be held in the main gym. If you have any questions please contact Coach Alewine or Coach Diggs.

  Boys Basketball tryouts will be held Oct. 29th after school in the main competition gym at 3:00pm. Must have a physical on file with all rank one paperwork complete.
